I present to you episode 4 of Blogmass.

On this episode I’ll be sharing with you 5 last minute holiday destinations with either friends or family.

On my last post I mentioned that I was to go zip lining with my friends…

So what happened was,

the day before when we were calling to make a reservation at the Forest, it was brought to our attention that you had to book five days in advance because all the slots were taken. (The Forest is approximately 1hr 10min from Nairobi)

On the brighter side we ended up going to Chaka Place in Nyeri to ride quad bikes and it ended up being a swell time. The only downfall was the food, it was just not that good. (3hrs from Nairobi)

The place also gets really full especially during this holiday season, so if you want to go ride the quad bikes or the buggys, just make a reservation prior to avoid disappointment.

Other Places to visit are:

Hells Gate National Park Naivasha for Mountain biking,  Rock Climbing or Hiking. (2hrs 15min from Nairobi)

While you are there plan to visit the Olkaria Georthermal Spa by Kengen, which is located inside Hells Gate National Park. It is quite an experience and extremely pocket friendly. p.s. Hells Gate has several entrances so I’d advice to use google maps or a tour guide to avoid getting lost.

And finally, Rapids Camp Sagana for rock climbing, water rafting and all other water sports you could imagine. Plus! They have a campsite so you might take advantage of that too.(1hr 30 min from Nairobi)
