MINT PINEAPPLE GOODNESS
Hello beautiful people.
How much does it suck that the Easter holidays are coming to an end.
Do you have anything to show for the long weekend? Or did you lock yourself inside the house to binge watch House of Cards, like I did. At least tonight I’m going out to watch a movie. Does that count for something? LOL
I’m torn between The Fate of the Furious and Beauty and the Beast.
I live for the caramel popcorn sold at the movies, especially Westgate mall. So one more thing to look forward to.
On another note, I got an email from one of my subscribers (Hey girl!) regarding my previous post and she was asking if I quit fries and carbs for good. I have not. I just reduced my intake a great deal, but once in a while I indulge in a burger and fries.
Can we talk about the Artcaffe Mint Pineapple juice? Healthy and simply the best non-alcoholic drink I know of. Dari restaurant also knows how to make it as good. Try it and let me know what you think.
You can also make it at home and let me know how it turns out. I asked for the ingredients from a mixologist and he was kind enough to share:
- 1/2 peeled and chopped pineapple
- 1 cucumber (optional)
- 2 cups of ice
- 2 spoons of sugar for taste
- Handful of fresh mint
- Puree the chopped pineapple in a blender until smooth. Sieve into a bowl and discard solids. Return the juice into the blender then blend with the rest of the ingredients. Pour into an ice-filled glass and enjoy.
