SURPRISE GRADUATION PARTY
Friday, May 29th 2015.
The day I finally graduated from campus.
The ceremony was short and sweet, and I felt so fulfilled when I threw my cap in the air.
After that, my parents and I went back home to have lunch and call it a day.
I had made plans with my friends Dennis and Sam to go for dinner and drinks, just to celebrate.
So after the family lunch I asked my parents if I could go out and they were too quick to approve, which never happens.
My dad even offered to drop me there, but I declined saying that my friends were coming to pick me… which was a lie.
He then gave me money for the first round of drinks, classic Meru dad.
I took a cab to Jessica’s (my sister’s friend) house because that’s where we had planned to meet up and prepare for our night out.
Jessica had told me some story about her friend who was having a bachelorette party which she was attending,
and since it was on her way she would drop us, as she checks out the new For You restaurant,
the place where we were to have our small dinner.
When we got there, I saw my dads car on the parking lot and everyone tried to convince me that I was confusing it with another.
I called my sister to confirm and she acted all shocked and told me that maybe he was stalking me. ‘Really?? Stalking??’
When we got into the restaurant I heard ‘SURPRISE!!’, I was so confused,
then I saw my family and friends.
It was so awesome. I was so surprised, mission accomplished.
I still can’t believe they managed pull it off without me finding out.
It was the most beautiful evening, best day ever!
I couldn’t stop crying. Tears of joy.
My money cake!
